Your innkeepers, Harry and Cheryl Schatmeyer, take great pride in providing comfortable and welcoming hospitality services at their inn. They and their staff are always attentive to the needs of their guests, as evidenced by the detailed amenities in your room, the humorous breakfast chatter infused with things to see and do, and casual dialogue during afternoon tea.
Harry and Cheryl enjoyed many years in customer service fields. Prior to innkeeping, Harry gained his business acumen and food service skills as an owner/operator of seven McDonald's restaurants in New Jersey, two of which were on the Garden State Parkway. Prior to owning the restaurants, he worked at the corporate level for McDonald's, as Director of Operations in the Northeast region. Cheryl, a registered nurse, has held several positions in healthcare administration, including Director of Nursing. Her most recent position was Executive VP-Chief Operating Officer of Westchester Medical Center in New York, where she also taught customer service to all health disciplines. Her interpersonal skills have been sharpened through the years by organizing health policies, managing a large work force, formal teaching, consulting and public speaking.
With their respective backgrounds, they aim to please their guests with quality and personalized service.
Whether here for a short respite or extended stay, you can count on the B&B mantra, which is a clean, tastefully decorated guest room with a comfortable bed and private bath, and a sumptuous two course breakfast served in venues of a cozy dining room, seasonal gardens, or privacy of your room.
